DRIVERS....

While competing in a motorsports event, drivers are exposed to a number of physical, environmental, and psychological stresses (carbon monoxide, radiant heat, dehydration, muscle trauma and general mental fatigue). Individually these stresses have little effect but in combination they invariably lead to a decrease in driving performance. Engineers know the structural and fatigue limit of important components of race car design. Unfortunately, the fatigue limit of the human body is difficult to predict and can vary according to the ambient conditions and the physical characteristics of the driver.

CREW MEMBERS....

Crews are constantly required to make split second decisions, quickly prioritizing work tasks during a service period. Many of the same conditions that affect drivers affect crew members. The constant requirement to be alert and perform under pressure can lead to fatigue, mistakes, injuries. Constant stress can eventually result in people leaving the industry. Not only does this require the training of new employees, but also the loss of a valuable information source.

EMPLOYEES....

The general employees are the backbone of any company. Many companies in today's commercial world are introducing health promotion programs to create a positive healthy lifestyle for employees, thus preventing ill health and injury. The power of a program of this type is that it aims to reduce company health costs associated with ill health and injury, while improving productivity and morale. In the motorsport industry, the management and employees perform under large amounts of stress. The implementation of a health promotion program would not only increase the overall team performance, but also team morale.

We are currently well versed into the motorsports world. Being around motorsports since an early age and more recently studying the stresses imposed by the sport, we're using our knowledge of conditioning  to develop programs for drivers and crews. We want the only limiting factor to be mechanical not human. For more information regarding motorsports training email Rick at: rick@completefitnesssolutions.com
